The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office One (NCO 1) intends to
release solicitation 36C24122Q0380 for Acute Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance Transportation Services for beneficiaries of Connecticut VA Medical Center. Services will include the provision of ALS, and BLS Ambulance transportation to beneficiaries Connecticut VA Medical Center. The full solicitation will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://beta.sam.gov on or about January 3, 2023.
Performance period will be 365 calendar days after award, with four 1-year option periods. This
is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming request for quote (RFQ) solicitation to
satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All questions should be directed to the
Contract Specialist, who will consolidate all questions and release a FAQ amendment (if
necessary) once the solicitation is released. All interested parties should register via the SAM
portal at https://sam.gov/SAM to be eligible for participation in the solicitation. It is the
responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from SAM which may be
issued to this solicitation. Prospective firms must be registered in the system for award
management (www.sam.gov) and in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database on Vet Biz
(www.vetbiz.gov) if claiming Veteran preference prior to award.
