Description
The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office One (NCO 1) intends to release solicitation 36C24123Q0007 medical coding services to assign the current appropriate International Classification of Diseases; Current Procedural Terminology; and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System Level II codes based on electronic health record documentation of outpatient, surgical, and inpatient care and services provided at or under the auspices of the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in VISN 01. The full solicitation will be posted on the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://beta.sam.gov on or about October 17, 2022.
Performance period will be 365 calendar days after award, with four 1-year option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming request for quote (RFQ) solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. All questions should be directed to the Contract Specialist, who will consolidate all questions and release a FAQ amendment (if necessary) once the solicitation is released. All interested parties should register via the SAM portal at https://sam.gov/SAM to be eligible for participation in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from SAM which may be issued to this solicitation. Prospective firms must be registered in the system for award management (www.sam.gov) and in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database on Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) if claiming Veteran preference prior to award.
