SYNOPSIS-
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a sole source basis with the Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation (CAGE CODE: 73030, 99167, 0CAM5) to establish a brand new Basic Ordering Agreement with FAR PART 15 clauses.
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of responsible sources which will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. (Source Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1)
The initial award will not include a list of items to be repaired. The purpose of this BOA is to establish a NAVSUP vehicle to place FAR PART 15 spares orders against. This BOA is not a contract and will instead serve as a set of terms and conditions in effort to reduce the amount of future standalones. This vehicle will also help to reduce the potential award processing time of military specific terms acquisitions to Hamilton.
The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
Information received in response to this synopsis will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This procurement is not a Small Business Set-Aside.
Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The approximate issue date for the Solicitation N00383-24-R-0026 will be 27 APRIL 2024 with an approximate response/closing date of 28 MAY 2024. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort by email to the contract specialist, Alyssa Thieu (alyssa.t.thieu.civ@us.navy.mil).
