Sealed Bids for construction of the “BID #2023-16 - Portland, CT WPCF Secondary Clarifier Upgrades” will be submitted to the Town of Portland, Office of the Director of Finance, Room 204, PO Box 71, 33 East Main Street, Portland, CT 06480-0071, until 11 am on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids will be opened and read aloud in Room 205. Each bidder must submit a sealed envelope, the outside of which must be clearly marked "Bid# 2023-16 – Portland, CT WPCF Secondary Clarifier Upgrades” and include the bidder’s company name and address. A Company official must sign all bids. The project consists of various improvements at the Portland, CT Water Pollution Control Facility including upgrades to the secondary clarifiers and the return sludge flowmeter vault.
