NEW SAMARITAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (NSDC) is seeking to procure the services of a qualified and experienced firm or combination of firms to provide architectural and all related professional services for affordable housing projects within the next three years for specific projects and on an as-needed basis. The term “responder” as used in this RFQ shall mean the firm, team, or individuals submitting responses for consideration. NSDC intends to rehabilitate a former 180-bed nursing home property built in 1984, located at 55 Kondracki Lane, Wallingford, CT. The proposed development will be funded with low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC), tax-exempt bonds issued by the Connecticut Housing Finance Agency (CHFA), and subordinated soft funding from the State of Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) among other sources of funds. A mandatory walk-through will take place on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 at 9 AM.
