The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH or the Department) is seeking proposals for a fiduciary for the distribution of funding for lead abatement
activities. The fiduciary will make funds available to property owners for the completion of lead abatement activities. Abatement activities must be ordered by local health officials and be performed by DPH-licensed lead abatement contractors. The fiduciary will also provide technical assistance and project management to local
health departments or districts and property owners. The funds will provide property owners with financial assistance to abate identified lead hazards in dwelling units. The definition of dwelling unit is found in RCSA 19a-111-1(31).
