The City of Norwich is making available up to $100,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds to support youth programs that help address the negative impacts of the pandemic on Norwich residents. Program proposals must address issues of public health, particularly for those who may be disproportionately impacted by the pandemic due to preexisting disparities. Proposed programs should provide opportunities and/or activities that promote things like physical activity, pro social engagement, positive youth development, and contribute to the overall health and emotional well-being of our Norwich youth. This funding is governed by the U.S. Department of Treasury as outlined in the Final Rule. Awardees must comply with rules and guidelines set forth and reporting on the use of funds will be required.
