In accordance with Sections 142 through 146 of P.A. 23-204, the Office of the State Comptroller (“State” or “OSC”) seeks to contract with a firm to provide licensed public adjusters to inspect and establish the value of damage to be covered by the program. The vendor will also assist in the appeals process, including assisting the OSC in establishing an appeal process for those applicants who wish to appeal the program administrator’s determination on their application, and assist in reviewing the appeals.
