Pursuant to Public Act 23-117 Section 7 the Office of Health Strategy (“OHS” or “Office”) is soliciting one organization to work with the State, to study Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs). The organization selected through this Request for Proposals (RFP), will work closely with the State until December 24, 2024. Work to be done by the organization in this RFP will be used to inform the joint standing committee on Insurance and Real Estate of the Connecticut General Assembly.

OHS is publishing this Request for Proposal (RFP) as part of its statutory requirement under section Public Act 23-117 Section 7 of the general statute to conduct a study on pharmacy benefit managers. This analysis and resulting recommendations will allow Connecticut to evaluate ways to 1) reduce prescription drug costs for consumers, and (2) for the regulation of pharmacy benefits managers in this state.
