The Town of Wethersfield seeks proposals from qualified consulting firms who can provide
design, analysis, cost estimating, bidding and construction administration services for
construction of a new, multi-use trail along Great Meadow Road and Marsh Street to connect
the trail system currently being constructed by the state as part of the Putnam Bridge Trail
Project (Project No. 53-190) to Main Street in Old Wethersfield. The Town has been awarded
$1,032,000 in Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) funds from the
CT Department of Transportation to construct Phase 1 of this project and has been selected to
receive approximately $1,100,000 in additional funding for Phase 2 construction.
