NPU is soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the successful upgrade of the current GE iFix environment.
PROJECT BACKGROUNDNPU uses GE IFix for its SCADA implementation for water, wastewater, gas and electric. The current system is made up of 4 pairs of servers with Enhanced Failover and 14 clients. These IFix instances are currently running IFix version 5.X. NPU utilizes the classic historian as well as Win911 and Excel Report Writer add-ons.NPU personnel are responsible for maintaining the system network and operating systems.
