Description:

Installation of Avigilon Camera System at the Beals Senior Community Center, including integration into the existing Avigilon environment within Bristol facilities, per the requirements set forth via the document link noted below.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on December 5, 2023, at 3:00 pm in the cafeteria at Beals Senior Community Center, 240 Stafford Avenue, Bristol CT.

The selected firm must be a Certified Integrator with not less than two (2) years experience in Avigilon Camera System Deployment, as evidenced by not less than three CT municipal references (to be provided via separate attachment).

Bidders are advised that all City and BOE Buildings are connected via fiber optic cabling to accommodate network connections. Deployment of ACC Enterprise System is expected to replicate existing parallel environments.

Pursuant to Public Act 15-5, this contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including non-discrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals.

This project is subject to requirements set forth in the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”). The awarded contractor will be responsible to follow and provide all requirements set by the United States Treasury’s State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (“SLFRF”).

This project is subject to prevailing wage rates. The successful bidder shall include any additional costs associated with prevailing wage rates as part of its bid.

The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Bids must be firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the bid opening.

The Contractor will take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, or national origin.
